Juicing Recipes #6 Carrot Ginger Juice
2 Medium carrots, chopped and peeled
1 Large granny smith apple, chopped
2-3 Kale stalks
1 Inch of ginger root
1 Lemons worth of juice or 1/2 cup lemon juice
This is one of my favorite juicing recipes! Lately I have been searching for a lot of healthy smoothie recipes and when I came across this one I had to try it, and I suggest you try it too if you have a blender like a Ninja Blender or Vitamix that is capable of juicing well.
1. Roughly chop on a cutting board.
2. Add all ingredients + approx. 1/2 cup water to blender and pulse until it resembles a veggie mush kind of like guacamole. You may have to poke at it and get the larger fruits and veg toward the blade depending on if you have a high end blender/juicer.
3. Once its a mush, strain through cheesecloth or strainer over a large cup or bowl to catch juice. Be careful not to make a mess!
4. Use unused fruit mush as compost or just discard and enjoy your juice with a ginger boost!
